    Why can't everyone just be happy? That question is asked often and I realized why, if everyone was happy, we'd all be dead. As if everyone's thoughts that they think will make them happy, well we all think life would be better without something/someone so it'd just start chaos, so just be happy with what you do have

Hey guys,

If you didn't know JR has a Facebook and a Twitter but it hasn't really been used in terms of the supplying information. It was only until recently that we have been using both services to make updates about JR's servers, the Minecraft one in particular. For now, I will be doing most of the updates but when school comes around I won't even be able to access the server so I'll need at least 2 members of staff from different time zones to take over the role.

Requirements:
  • Be a staff member
  • Have a Facebook account (Twitter details will be supplied)
Responsibilities:
  • Updating both JR's Facebook page and Twitter when when JR's servers experience a downtime also an update is also required (ASAP) when the servers are back up online.
As for JR's Youtube channel, I will need another staff member to take the simple role of uploading videos onto JR's Youtube channel.

Requirements:
  • Be a staff member
  • Know how to upload videos to Youtube
Responsibilities:
  • Upload videos made by JR's members (server trailers, Let's Plays, tutorials etc) - I will post up a guide for what to include in the video description
  • Categorise videos into neat playlists (if necessary)

I've vaguely told Jamie about this idea but I will have to verify with Jamie about it. So if you're interested in either positions, send me a PM :D

P.S: Damn it, does anyone have a link to JR's Youtube channel :D

Just a thought but you might want to get 2 people from different timezones, the best being 2 people cross the globe so while one may be asleep, the other is still awake, or while one isn't playing the other will be (hopefully they are active)

I added another job to the topic (i.e. uploading videos to JR's Youtube channel). I still need 2 members of staff to PM me so I'll worry about the time zone concerns later. Great idea though :D +rep

Any one up for the job? I really need at least 2 staff members to help with the update of Facebook and Twitter for whenever JR's servers go down. Youtube channel positions will follow.

I might be able to pitch in for YouTube... MAY... Would I actually have to take videos, or would people make them and send to me then I upload to YouTube?

People send videos to you and you upload them. But we'll worry about that after I get another staff member to help with the Facebook and Twitter status updates.

Peter is Australian... Emil is American?
I'm Indian.. somewhere in between but closer to Aus! Twice as far away from America as I am from Aus.

I would actually love to volunteer for major topics update. Any announcement that is made, posting those on Twitter. Although it can be automated xD

If someone's made a script that allows for automation of Twitter and Facebook updates then great! We'll use that and put staff on more important positions. But for now, manual labour of copying and pasting I guess haha
