Why can't everyone just be happy? That question is asked often and I realized why, if everyone was happy, we'd all be dead. As if everyone's thoughts that they think will make them happy, well we all think life would be better without something/someone so it'd just start chaos, so just be happy with what you do have

Airport Tycoon 3 is a business simulation game released in 2003 where you must build and run a successfull airport near a major city.

From an empty plot of land, you must build terminals, parking lots, runways, support structures, and build your own airport empire. The idea of the game is to make money by making contracts with airlines to let them land and providing them services.

As airport starts running, you need to negotiate contracts with the various businesses, including airlines, maintenance companies, catering, cargo handlers, concessionaires, parking, taxi, railroad, hotels, gas stations and much more.

Thats mostly what you have to do, do i recommend it?, no, Why?, its boring, it has bad graphics, the tutorial its horrible, the interface is hard to understand, you have so few money that you go bankrupt really fast, and it takes ages until an airline sends you an offer and more time to get an airplane to land. And the worst, what the he... is wrong with the time, if you fast forward the game when an airplane is approaching, it takes like a week for the plane to land ?!?!, if you leave it in real time it takes just a couple of hours , there is something seriously wrong there...

IGN rated it 4/10, i agree.(3/10)

Another great review Damian! +rep I love these tycoon-type games if its that bad to get a 4 from IGN then I don't know what to say. Was their verdict based on just the graphics? Or was the the graphics a major factor of the verdict?

I love all flight simulators & Business Type Games. But from your review, I can see it's quite a rubbish game.

+rep for a good review.

Wow... I used to play these tycoon games back in the day. Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and Airport Tycoon 2 were my favorites. And Sim City 4.

I so loved Airport Tycoon 2, and I was desperate to get the sequel, but I could never find it in my area. Eventually, I forgot about the game. And now when you post a review about it, I'm least interested in getting it :D

Thanks peter, i always try my best :D, and no, it was also based on the poor gameplay, and the serie of bugs the game has.

Thanks lttf, it is rubbish, after playing it, you will learn to hate it, and hate the developers for ruining it...

I'm guessing its the same developers that developed the other tycoons right?

Actually no. :D
Airport tycoon 1 was developed by Krisalis Software (Defunct).
Airport tycoon 2 by Sunstorm interactive (Developers of add-ons for duke nukem 3D and Blood, also developers of Deer Hunter and Duke Nukem Manhattan Project, thats probably why you liked this version Flaw, the only serious developer of the game).
Airport tycoon 3 by interactive Vision (I think they dont even have a website...).

I have it on my notebook, since its one of th few games it can run :o
I havent found any other game like sim city 4000 (Sim city Societies sucks...), its the best city simulation game, the other ones are just a bunch of social management crap.
