Why can't everyone just be happy? That question is asked often and I realized why, if everyone was happy, we'd all be dead. As if everyone's thoughts that they think will make them happy, well we all think life would be better without something/someone so it'd just start chaos, so just be happy with what you do have

JR, will be having a censored black out on the 18th for 12 hours.

This is due to a protest against SOPA read: http://sopastrike.com/

We will only be down from 12 AM GMT +0 to 12 PM GMT +0 Meaning we will be back on in the afternoon as we don't want to cause anyone to be bored for too long.

Minecraft Will be down due to notch's decision of closing down minecraft for a day. We expect all staff sites and any subsidiary sites of JR to be offline at this time also.

We hope you understand why we are striking.

12 hours is alright.

I have registered my blog as well for the strike, since you say the staff websites will be down too.

What are we going to see when the censor is on?
I think we should have a page, background black, and written in white text: Taken down under the Stop Online Piracy Act. Either something like that, or a complete take down. What are you going to do?

My country New Zealand, has said if you are found pirating anything at all, $15,000 fine. 2 days later NZ's Internet usage dropped 5 terabyte, NZ is a small country and for a country like America to do this, the Internet usage could drop down ALOT.

i made it simple, i taked down my site, with a simple html page, with a small text and using both of the images made by peter. It might not be the best work, but it will show im against S.O.P.A

i will take it down for today, the 18 and i think the other blackout its 25 january

I reckon the multiplayer authentication side of things will still be running just not the website, So Account servers broadcasting and website down, Notch would never stop multiplayer, would he? Any ways we could still play on server if he did, Jamie would just set online mode to false, which means server will not try to authenticate (Dangerous because anyone could log on as username Player or start up Minecraft with let's say, Qudubz username set, therefor allowing him/her to have Qudubz permission's (Which anyone would love to have) so yeah) usernames, but Jamie is goin to kill server anyway so all I just said doesn't matter.

Notch is not head of Mojang anymore it's Jeb, and I think that Mojang would close down MP for a day to protest against SOPA

Stop it manually, I can't legally just switch off servers that users are paying for. Ill send you the code. Although its just an image with a link
