We are switching servers to a new faster Minecraft server.

Please update your IP Address to: playmc.jrnetwork.net we will be back online in around 10 minutes

Hi Jamie, the ip address is the same? there is no change? Its now saying that i'm not whitelisted?

We currently got some issues on the server, we are working on it. There will be posted here on the forum when we get it all working

IF it doesn't work right away, restart your internet / PC for the changes to take effect. Or hold windows key and click r. Type in the box ipconfig /flushdns click ok and try again

Whenever I try running ipconfig a box pops up then disappears immediately >.<

DNS (Domain Name Server) points a URL to its respective IP address. For example, a DNS would point your brower to 123.45.567.34 when you want to visit http://example.net (fictitious example). The "ipconfig /flushdns" command is used to clear the DNS cache that your computer has built over a period of time. So when the IP address has changed, the browser/application shouldn't point to the old one, but request the new one from the DNS.

I think that's accurate. And these are some basics Pete! You should know them :o

I just changed the IP in minecraft and it worked instantly :o xD

I just changed the server address and it worked- in one attempt.

Try connect again. The server may still be down.
And it'd be nice to provide a print screen to save us the trouble of having to ask.
