Hey guys! I've finally created my first blender project. It is a cube with a JR logo on it. Yeah, hopefully you won't despise the extreme simplicity, but it looks cool!

Details:
Made With Blender 2.63a Linux i686
I used 3 lights, a point, a spotlight, and an area.
Logo taken from the one in the upper left corner of this webpage.
Oh, and by the way, the background was made by placing the entire thing inside of a Metaball Plane

Tell me what you think!

Intriguing, but there's something that doesn't feel right to me. And add all image links to your original post so people don't have to search through the entire topic just to find the link or find out that such an image exists :P

By the way, remove this: ?attredirects=0 from your links, so that way you go directly to the image. :)

I am having trouble finding a high-res JR logo...

Animated Sphere!

So I finally figured out how to make an animation. Sorry about the horrible resolution, I JUST figured out how to make a video from the rendered frames.

Wow that's neat. I always wanted my very own JR cube. I will take cubey with me wherever I go. He so beats the companion cube. But seriously, stupendous job good sir.
