Hackwars is an online hacking simulation game.In this game your role is to preform at a hackers peak, hacking npc, doing missions and earning money, atthe same time when trying to defend your own pcfrom attack. By earning money you can upgradeyour CPU, to run more programs, your MEMORYso you can hold more files and you can donate moneyto get people's trust in the community. Doing missions for NPC's shows you everything you can do on HackWars, but while only scratching the tip of the iceburg.A revolutionary scripting language, HackScript, let's youfeel at the edge of hacking by letting you create your ownhacking programs (to use ingame ofcourse). You can use watches (tell you when a certain event has happened) firewalls (blocks damage from other playersNPC'S).Ingame chat lets you speak to other hackers in real-time letting you ask and give help to other people.Hacktendo, a game creator built into the game, let'syou create minigames and applications to sell to otherpeople for cash.

Sounds like a really interesting game! I like games with upgradeable objects. It makes it so much more worth my while.
So is this game free?

No I asked if it was free.
I just googled it and yes it is. I remember playing it a while back but I lost my interest in it.
Although I still think its a good game though.
