My Specs

Dell Latitude D630

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz Dual Core

RAM:2GB DDR

Graphics Card/Chip set: Intel 965 Chipset

Monitor/Screen: 15.2" LCD

Battery Life: ~2Hrs max, with brightness turned up all the way & everything on (WiFi card, Bluetooth card, Cellular Card, etc.

HDD/SSD:500GB

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I feel kinda puny here compared to some of these other ones... :(

Also I'm looking to upgrade my RAM. May end up getting 8GB when all is said and done (the max this laptop can take).

I think i would just upgrade to 4gb ram and then upgrade the CPU. 8gb ram is kinda overkill with only a dual core processor.

Another thing you could do is to use a desktop instead of a laptop :P Runs so much better ;D
