Had a bad day?

Recommended Posts

I'm gonna use topic for myself for a second, so I lent a friend of mine a custom made Xbox 1 controller that I was given for my birthday, first off, I didn't get it back until I physically got it back myself and second the controller was near enough destroyed, it was nearly torn in half, most of the buttons didn't work and the actual custom pattern had a stupid amount of scratches and holes....

It sucks that our kindness can have this sort of turn around!, I am sorry to hear that your friend did not respect your property and also that they did not give your controller back until you got it yourself.
I have had similar experiences when I was a little younger and it was not fair at all.

Life lesson: Don't give people anything that you value.

Man I am starting to wonder if it's time to move my shop yet again.  I have owned this barbershop for 29 years. I have never got to run it as I see fit. I have to pay attention to whomever owns the buildings wishes.  I can't have a light over my station because of a defunked air system that we don't even control. and that 's the other issue.... I had to close shop early today because it was too damn hot in my shop for comfort ....again.. I am losing business again  .   As a barber I have moved 5 times. Since owning this shop I have moved 2 times .This last move was not my idea. I just couldn't see paying the owner double the rent with 10 days notice. ( Silly me   ) maybe I need to just retire.  ....thinking

I know I'm probably the least qualified person to give advice here because of a lack of experience in anything really. But I say you do whatever you feel is right for you. Then start thinking about the business after.
