Drops on ark

Hi Emma,

I do agree with you that loot drops in ark can feel underwhelming, this also extends to the options we have for modifying the loot drops unfortunately. As it stands the only way to add modified loot drops into ark is to replace the loot tables for the drops rather than just adding onto them. Essentially we have to rebuild the loot tables from scratch. If you are able to find a way to reduce the workload for this, I would be open to implementing modified loot drops on the server.

I do agree with this comment, to replace the loot table could cause a lot of issues and unbalance to the game from what I see. Is there anything else we can do to instead of modifying the loot drops to make the experience better? I don't want glitches, or issues due to spending hours trying to make a loot table.

I have implemented a first round of loot drop changes to Ragnarok. I am open to constructive feedback as I imagine this will be an on going process. At the moment I have balanced the drops around the minimum level you need to access them.

There are 24 types of loot drops on Ragnarok, all of them contain at least 4 different item sets now.

Still changes to do, this has taken a backseat in favour of expanding the cluster. I need to do Aberration loot drops then take a look into how the other maps work in terms of drops.

Okay, I've set this to delayed.

Custom loot drops have been implemented across the cluster except for Genesis 2 and Extinction as they have different systems for drops. I also need to do the cave/dungeon loot drops for all maps.
