Data Retention Policy

JR reserves the right to hold customer / personal data for a period of up to 6 years if you have purchased a product / service at JR. This will only be used for record keeping. We understand privacy is a concern for customers/users of JR therefore If a customer would like their personal data removed from their account we can remove any profile pictures and all personal details found publicly.

We will keep records of all sales invoices, receipts, transactions and Email address, client details, Name, address, phone number related to those invoices, this information is only found on a admin level and is kept to track invoices that have been paid for or if it is needed for fraud or tax purposes.

JR Stats

By logging in to JR with a Steam or Minecraft account you agree that when you join our servers statistics will be processed from your player. Statistics gathered are the following: Last Online Time, Online time, kill count, what servers you play. These are used for only providing analysis on how servers are performing to JR Administrators and to provide our ranking and rewards system.  We can not track the specific times you go online, excluding the last online time that you have visited our servers. 

If you'd like to opt-out of this please remove your Steam or Minecraft account. Or contact an Administrator to do this for you.

IP Address Usage

IP address are logged to our back-end to protect JR if an attack was to occur against JR, it is also used to be able to IP ban users if the site guidelines have not be used. This information is kept to Administrators only and will never be sold on. While we do use this data to view where our members are playing this is a general area and we do not use this data to identify a individual user.

Selling of data

JR never will sell user data. End of, if you have data on JR none of this will be passed on to third parties.

Deletion of data

In compliance with GDPR, users have the right to request data deletion. For deletion of data please contact us at https://jrnetwork.net/contact/ verification of your identity may be required to comply with the request to ensure only your data will be removed. Depending on your account this may be done via a scanned ID, confirmation email / text or client area ticket.

Are there circumstances in which the right to be forgotten / data deletion will not apply?

Yes, the GDPR states that the right to be forgotten will not apply where processing is necessary for:

  • Exercising the right of freedom of expression and information.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation, the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority.
  • Reasons of public interest in the area of public health (See Article 9(2)(h) & (i) and Article 9(3), GDPR).
  • Archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes.
  • Establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.
Spam Defense
The IPS Spam Defense Service passes the email address and IP address of the registering member to the service to determine the likelihood a registering account is a spam source.
reCAPTCHA V2
This site uses a CAPTCHA to ensure humans are performing certain actions. The CAPTCHA provider may set a session cookie and get information about your internet browser and device accessing this website.
