  7. The new YouTube player shows a cleaner interface. If you usually watch videos during a break at the office or at home, you might have noticed something different. Google has changed the player controls bar, now this bar instead of being solid is translucent. This new design looks cleaner and its more in line with the company current standard. The changes are visible in every web browser and mobile devices. 11. Yeah, now get a great connection for a fair price. But our ISP still has a bad reputation for years of poor service. In 2012 we got a 10 mbps connection for the same price that now we get a 80 mbps, around 56 USD/Month.
  12. Around 69 USD/Month for a 120 mbps download and 12 mbps upload.
  13. My top 3 favourite quotes where all said by Einstein. 1: A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new. 2: Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. 3: Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
  14. Want to see a fast connection? My ISP finished the upgrade from telephone wire to fiber a couple of months ago, now im flying.
  15. The php seems fine to me, the CSS shouldnt cause any troubles there, and i have no idea about the jQuery, im a little rusty on it.
  16. Thats a big improvement Kyle, great work . The footer is quite big, i would make it thinner.
  17. By pressing f5 you are reloading from cache Chris, thats why they have similar loading times. Like everyone else said, change either to firefox or chrome. If you still want to keep using IE disable as much add ons as you can. If you still have slow speeds there may be some problem with your windows installation, have to reinstall IE, or maybe you have a program running on the background consuming internet bandwidth, but for sure Minecraft is not causing problems.
  18. It sounds great I would like to learn about the subject, they dont teach that in the university i go.
  19. The connection its a little bit unstable, they are still working on the fiber, it goes from there up to 90Mbps (It should be 120 Mbps, but...i cant complain, its way better than a couple of months ago, when i had 10Mbps).

  21. Yesterday i was cleaning up a bit all my files and found a bunch of old projects that date from when i started my studies(3 years ago). So i chose one, finished it, fixed all the problems that had and added some features to it. Is a pretty simple Notes app, made it to be easy to use and it minimizes to tray bar so it doesnt get in your way. Opens fast, but uses quite a lot of memory, 23mb, blame Java for that, because the program barely has any code... Fetures: -Add/modify/remove several notes with different names(It was unfinished) Added yesterday: -Minimize to tray bar, it also has a context menu -Changed the Java icon with a notepad -It saves notes automatically when you minimize or close the program. -I also added shortcuts Dropbox Download Notes v1.0-b I also have a whole bunch of unfinished apps and some that run in the windows console, if you want i can finish them, some may not be usefull, i used them to practice Java. -Calculator -Chess -TCP Server and client chat (Really simple program, you need to know the server IP address) -Units converter -Law of the ideal gases calculator -Boyle law calculator -Pacman -Resistance calculator -Periodic table -Sets calculator -TicTacToe -Hangman -Investments calculator -Drivers test (Quiz program) -Matrix operations -Racing simulator (Text based)
