  1. managed to download it yesterday. only took 8 hours, then an hour to decompress. me and the wife are loving it on the LAN. it's weird, like a post apocalyptic world, and you can loot everything in site! (hehe). only thing left are monsters. almost reminds me of fallout. far more structures then just villages, and far more creative ones then villages too. it gets really interesting when you start snooping around in old players trunks and find hoards of stuff. my wife got stuck in the End on there, even though i gave her end portal in her inventory, she said it wouldn't work. so she killed the dragon. it's all good though, just made a dragon spawner there for any repeat visits. too much fun. Thanks Jamie, really awesome of ya to share! XD
  2. Lost- full diamond armor set enchanted diamond sword with knock back I, enchanted gold sword with knock back I and smite II. enchanted pick axe with fortune III, efficiency IV, and unbreaking III. enchanted pick axe with unbreaking III. Iron pick axe. 4 enderchest. wooden axe. stack of watermelons. 2 buckets of water. enchanted bow with power I. 2 arrows. 42 raw fish. (all items nearly undamaged) cant remember what else.
  3. how does the automatic rewards work? i know i can use invedit to create enchanted items, and use things like mcedit to multiply each item. who says the rewards thing has to be automatic. maybe you get something nice like a golden apple or cake which, upon request could be exchanged for something more valuable. or having the right combination of items could be exchanged for enchanted stuff, or even XP! i dont know, just throwing out ideas here.
  4. having troubles getting logged in to the jr network server. it either says "end of stream" or "failed to log into server". this started happening right after a server reset.
  5. by the way, just checked jrnetowrk server. only 2 people on. it's my guess that this is still the transition period. unless there's something i'm missing about getting logged in
  6. it's 2:05pm eastern standard time on 8/1/2012. i tried logging into the jr server. it says 3 people are logged in. when i try to log in, it says internal exception. java.net socket exception. server reset. is there something else that i need to do to get logged in? Or is this just the transition time, and i just need to wait a bit?
  7. I was thinking about some of the ways Jamie has made it fun and encouraging to play on his server, and i came up with a suggestion/idea that would help along those lines. I've noticed there are rewards like free gold membership for 2 weeks and winning a game, or getting 1000 Coins or a nice drop like a golden apple for voting. But I haven't seen any rewards in the form rare drops except for diamonds. For someone who is interested in the free game, but is hard pressed to pay for the same game, that works great for them. Similarly 2 weeks of free gold membership is nice. But since rewards are intended to encourage game play on the Jrnetwork server, I was thinking the rarest of items could be a reward. It would be so cool to have rewards like high level enchanted armor (full set) or other enchanted items. Or items that are hard to collect a stack of like Ghast tears, or slime balls. Also potions, the good ones. I would do lots for rewards along those lines. after all, the only current ways to get these items involves either high risk or a lot of time/ trouble. please let me know if this idea can be implemented or not. thanks, Nick (christian2gothic)
