Hey guys, I recently came up with a map to play with my friends, we spent the week designing it and I spent the last two days building it (It was a pretty easy build, mostly, just a lot of command block coding and redstone optimising :p). I'm going to play it this weekend with some friends, but I'd really appreciate it if some of you could get together or play with friends to test it. It's essentially a skyblock survival between four teams, with a strange scoring system: You have to eat cake to get points, and you lose points when you die. If your team reaches 0 points, they lose. The last team standing wins the game. I've tested the command-ing, so I know that's pretty much good. I just need to know things like if the cake-points to death-points is balanced, or if there's a malfunction or some gamerule I need to switch. I'm actually really looking forward to playing it, I hope you guys are too! It can be played with two or more players, I can imagine it being super fun with even up to a dozen people playing. Hope you like it! Make sure to give me some feedback! http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/cake-break-a-skyblock-pvp-survival-2players-teams-scoring-system/

Good evening fellow Survivors and Adventurers of the interwebs Tonight I am writing about a game in which I've currently spent 145 hours venturing far and wide in a prehistoric world after being stranded on an island inhabited by history's most interesting yet horrifying and largest family of Predator / Prey to walk the earth we know so well As the title says I am speaking about ARK: Survival Evolved Ark: Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival game that uses a first person perspective, with the ability to use a third person perspective depending on player preference and choice. The Goal of the Game is to survive, and to do this players must establish a base, make friend or foe and use the thermal system to their advantage by creating fire's and clothes to protect them from the Brisk temperatures of the dark and rainy nights whilst also taking advantage of the rainy cycles and rivers / Oceans of the island to maintain their hydration The game itself also offers additional activities, such as taming and feeding the beasts that roam the worlds map which is also known as the "Ark". The Ark is approximately 48 square kilometers in size which totals up to approximately 36 square kilometers of land mass, with 12 square kilometers of ocean. To build a base, players must gain structure components—such as floors, doors and windows—which are earned as they progress and gain levels. These components can be crafted, and placed in the world. Players can create any structure, as long as they have the logistics and resources; the structural integrity of the building is compromised when the pillars and foundations are destroyed. Players can also craft items in the game, such as weapons, which can be achieved by collecting the resources and technology required for crafting. In addition, players can craft and attach accessories to their weapons, such as a scope or flashlight for a pistol or machine gun. Should players take damage, their health meter will gradually regenerate if they have consumed the necessary food, or if they craft items that regenerate the health meter at a faster pace. There are sixty types of dinosaurs in the game. The dinosaurs in the game can be tamed by feeding it food. Once a dinosaur is tamed, players have access to the dinosaur's abilities, such as flight or fast underwater / land movement, as well as its statistics, such as speed, health and damage. When the access to these abilities are gained, players lose control of their personal weapons but gain control of a much larger and more destructive weapon (that being their beast of choice) So what will you do? "Remember you don't have to run fast, Just faster than your friends"
