  1. Hey All, I've been reading that if you have purchased content on Warzone it will not transfer to the newest version of warzone which will be released alongside the MWII release! Supposedly Warzone 1 will run alongside Warzone 2 as separate experiences. But this calls on a few questionable factors. How long will Warzone 1 be supported for ? I know for a fact any time a new game is released by activision the previous game falls to the abyss. With the fact a lot of people have spent a lot of money on warzone 1 are they going to get anything by transitioning to warzone 2. I just think it's mad that if you have bought something in Warzone recently it's not going to carry over and activision have stated: (https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2022/06/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-II-announcement-release-reveal) A bit ominous but it does state that it'll be entirely separate. What's your view on this ? Do we need to storm activision ?!
  2. Okay, so I've noticed an issue / well not so much of an issue but an interesting bug none the less. Before you state anything below please note the only subscription I have is xbox live gold nothing else. I have attached proof below, meaning this isn't game pass related. I have also never ever signed up for gamepass: The issue at hand is I can open some xbox games without having the disc in the console. Currently I can open without the disc: Halo MCC Halo 5 Forza Horizon 4 (I have never bought this game) Game sharing? No this is not the case as I have ensure I have logged out of my families xbox that my brothers use. (They don't have halo mcc or halo 5.) Yesterday I noticed that I was playing halo 5 while the mcc disk was in the drive and then realized both games were able to be opened and played fully without game quits without the disk in the drive (I've never got a digital copy of either game). As you can see by this picture: I'm in a halo lobby without either game put in and I do not have a second copy of the games. I am a halo insider which could explain Halo MCC and Halo 5 but not Forza Horizon 4. I'm sharing this looking for people to see if they can open the same without the disc in the tray. I have tried other games but they give me 2 different errors. Either Do you own this game or app? Or the other been Insert the game disc We need that to read the licence if the disc is already in check to see if its damaged or scratched. On the do you own this game or app when you put in the disc the discs can be removed and the game quits as normal. But for the games that ask to read the licence. If you remove the disk while in game / loading the game freezes and becomes unplayable. (it doesn't quit) This is an interesting behavior, it could be handy to find out what is causing this as I don't believe it to be in relation to subscriptions, it seems to be a glitch which could possibly be exploited to work across other games. Does anyone have any information on why this could be happening other than gamepass / home xbox? Is this happening to you, please let me know so we can figure out why this is happening. I have searched some forums and they have blamed the same gamepass / home xbox or EA access. It is definitely something up with licensing and I'm interested in trying to replicate it somehow.

  5. Since we're still in the early part of 2016, there's still a lot of upcoming games to get hyped for. Which ones are you personally excited about and why? They can be on any platform or gaming device. You should say a little bit about your game(s) of choice and why they tickle your fancy as well, just to let the JR Community know why they should love it too!
  6. As if we didn't already know, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been extremely successful for CD Projekt RED, with reviewers and fans alike creaming over it. But just encase you didn't know, The Witcher 3 has sold over 6 million copies in as little as 6 weeks. Now that's bloody impressive! According to the latest financial results from CD Projekt RED, the game has been selling extraordinarily well, both digitally and in-stores, and at the current rate will likely surpass expected sales figures for 2015. The company have also earned 237 million PLN ($63.3 Million) in net profit for the first half of 2015.
  7. Microsoft have announced that they will start limiting how many more people can join the Xbox One Preview Program since it has reached a “near-capacity level”. Microsoft posted on the Xbox Forums that the huge surge in applications, helped on by Backwards Compatibility and Xbox to PC streaming, has been a strain on the system. Xbox One Preview Program Manager Emily Hanson said in the forum topic: “Due to a tremendous response from our fans, the Xbox Preview program has reached a near capacity level. With that in mind, we are slowing the number of new people we are accepting to optimize for testing. We are thankful for the amount of interest we’ve received to date and look forward to sharing more details on preview opportunities soon.”
  8. There are few game developers as beloved as Rare. Its creations have charmed millions over the last 30 years with witty writing and an attention to detail that lends credence to goofy, fantastical worlds. It's found success in a wide range of genres, and Rare Replay, a collection of thirty games from the studios' distant and recent past, showcases this success perfectly. It has offbeat side-scrolling beat-em-ups, racing games, a fighting game, first-person shooters, games starring piñatas, and even one about a foul-mouthed squirrel who makes his debut under the fog of a massive hangover. Rare Replay isn't a "best of" collection, as some of its games are better regarded as historical touchstones rather than timeless hits, but there's plenty to enjoy, and even learn, if you're willing to go the distance to unlock Rare Replay's bonus content. Rare Replay is mostly old material, but oh what material it is. Boot up a game like Battletoads, and you're reminded of the golden, 8-bit era where studios experimented with wild ideas, when it was ok to make a game with frogs named Zitz and Pimple who walk upright and man-handle weaponized robots. Battletoads isn't merely regarded for its unusual dressing; it's also a game that's fun to play. It frequently surprises you with new mechanics and settings. These qualities define many of Rare Replay's best games, including Conker's Bad Fur Day, and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Blast Corps. Even more straightforward games draw you in with great, refined gameplay, like Cobra Triangle and R.C. Pro-Am, or maybe you take a liking to the handful of games that marry great writing, music, and characters.
  9. Okay, so I just watched the Xbox conference and the Xbox One reveal yesterday and I can't believe what I just watched, and yet I'm not surprised. Every gaming company now is always making the wrong decisions, though it may not be EVERY single gaming company there is today, most ones like EA and MS are messing up their games like there's no tomorrow. They're both corrupted by a lust for money and a greedy team of developers. Most of the Xbox One is focused on TV.. Why? So we can basically watch TV on our TV? Useless I say. Utterly useless. NONE of the damn thing is focused on Gaming, but on TV and other sections of entertainment. Skype=Cool. TV=Eliminates use for TV's, again more ideas for money so people can buy Xbox One's instead of actual TVs themselves. Internet=Eliminates use for computers Also, fees for playing previously owned or preowned games? What the hell is wrong with these people?? I swear to God MS. I'm off.
  10. Rumors are spreading that Xbox 720's controller will be much like the Wii U tablet controller with a HD touchscreen in the center and Buttons surrounding it. Wii U Controller Xbox World Magazine have said that the controller "could be a remote control when you're watching TV, a browser when you're on the internet, extra buttons and information when you're playing a game or a portable display when you want to take your game with you". which is not surprising since the new Xbox looks like it will be a media behemoth. Filling a post like a pro It's not surprising that the console is looking quite expensive as XBW expect the console to be around 399 pounds ($625). Source of information: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/335369/xbox-720-has-wii-u-touchscreen-controller-report/
  11. Activision have already claimed that the next COD "already looks fantastic", promising “meaningful innovations†while being “laser-focused on raising the bar with this year’s new Call of Duty†I don't know about the rest of ye, but I call bulls***. For years now Activision have promised innovation and that the next COD will be better than it's predecessor. Yet, since COD 4 nothing has changed and not a single improvement has been made. To me Modern Warfare 2 was the closest it has came to matching the orgasmic COD 4. I do think that Nazi zombies was a good addition, kudos to treyarch, but it did not satisfy my need to tea-bag n00bs and pwn those who beleave they are "1337" ("elite" to those who are not fluent in gamer). I beleave Activision have started hyping us up early because many gamers think MW3 was a disappointment. Don't beleave that other gamers were disappointed? http://www.metacriti...-3/user-reviews This is not a critic, not a single person who just hate the series. but 4,500 gamers who express their distaste in MW3. showing the sales that COD received got were purely due to hype of the series and not game quality. Are you sceptical on Activisions promises, or do you beleave them and think they will follow through?

    GTA 5 Announced

Yesterday Rockstar have announced that GTA 5 is currently in development. At the moment no information has been released stating where the game will be located, release date or even platform. There have been rumers for a late 2012 release and a return to San Andreas but at this point it's all just speculation. Anyone who has subscribed to the rockstar newsletter will have recived an email with a link to the countdown for the trailer which will be viewable on the 2nd of November at 6:00pm GMT here --->http://www.rockstargames.com/ So what would you like in the next GTA? I would enjoy a return to San Andreas since that was my favourite location in the series.

    Tomb raider: Legend

In the search of a south american relic, Lara's course changes dramatically, when she finds a dangerous acquaintance from the past, then it begins a deadly race to recover one of the most famous artifacts of the history. Lara travels to Peru to visit her old friend Anaya in a tragic place from the past. She discovers the secrets of a tomb, and the amazing answers will only help her if she stays one step in front of Rutlands mercenaries. Thats the begining of the story. This is a good game and great step since the last version if we talk about graphics, and movement. The new engine, gives Lara more variety of movements, realism, and agility. But it has some problems, bugs, lack of story and Lara's boring house. Graphics are amazing. Lara looks so real you can see every highlight, smoke and dust particle, bullet hole etc. The new engine also gives Lara more movement, agility and precision. The game has some nice and clear menus, with an animated Lara standing in the area where you are currently at in-game, and black transparent buttons. It has a good gameplay, easy to understand, easy to play, but at times you feel like you want to kill her, because she doesnt do what you want or the camera changes the angle, and instead of jumping to side she jumps backwards and kills herself. The good thing is that theres a lot of control points. You will feel like theres something missing in the story but you just have to go to a place, jump, duck, roll, kill 2 or 3 enemies, avoid the traps, grab the artifact , get out of there, see a couple of movies where she talks with her enemies, fight them and thats basically all. It is short. Sounds are good, nice music, realistic. Its a great game with amazing graphics, a great gameplay, that its easy to learn, and play, with nice menus, but it lacks of story in my opinion. I do recommend it if you like the action/adventure games.
